Stan's Racing Adventure!

The photo at right was captured just before a collision. I was crewing on the far boat ,sail #1105, at my station "GRINDER," when all of a sudden WHAM. I fell in the cockpit "OK" got up and continued "GRINDING" Those racers are a different bunch. I'll take Cracker Jack cruising anytime. That was my first race by the way. It was a three day event hosted by the Golden Gate YC, with DIN DIN at ST Francis Yacht Club. We came in 6th out of 12 cruising category.  ~Stan O'Hoppe.
